Hamantaschen Dough - III (Parve)

  • 1 Package Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 Cup all purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • Mix all ingredients together (it may seem dry, but it will work in). The dough will be sticky. Roll out on lightly floured board, cut into 3" circles, fill, fold, and baked on greased cookie sheet at 375 for about 8 minutes.

    HAMANTASCHEN FILLINGS

    RASPBERRY - ALMOND FILLING

    • 1 8oz Jar Almond Filling
    • 1 12oz jar red raspberry preserves

    Mix the two together well, and fill your pastry.

    CHOCOLATE FILLING

    • 1/2 Cup cocoa
    • 1/2 Cup sugar
    • 1/4 Cup milk or cream
    • 1 Cup walnuts, pecans, or almonds- toasted and chopped.

    Mix together thoroughly, and use as filling.
