Crunchy Halva & Rice Crispies Cookies
- 100 g halva
- 50 g margarine
- 3 spoons honey
- 2 spoons sugar
- 1 spoon instant coffee
- 4 cups rice puffs
- 50 g sesame
Directions:
- Crumble the halva into a pot with your hand.
- Add the coffee, honey, margarine, and sugar; on a medium flame, melt it into a uniform mixture- but not boiling.
- Turn off flame and add the rice puffs, mix well and transfer into a lightly greased pan and flatten it with a wooden spoon (can have it any thickness you like and in any other storing or serving like cake cups).
- Toast the sesame while mixing (around 2 minutes) on a medium flame (without oil) and sprinkle them on the rice puff. If desired, cut it into squares or other shapes- it’s better to cut it while the sesame is hot.
- Store in the refrigerator (only because it’s tastier cold).
